The Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti is out now and with such a powerful graphics card you would be a fool to play games at 1080p so we are raising things up to 1440p. We tested 9 games at 1440p and here you can see the Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti benchmarks in those games and how well the graphics card performs with all settings maxed out.
The Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti is supposed to fill in the gap between the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1080 so it is not surprising that the graphics card performs better than the GTX 1070 and comes just below the GTX 1080.
We paired the Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti with the 8700K and got the following results:
The GTX 1070 Ti holds well in these major AAA titles and that is what you expect to get when you pay $450 for a graphics card. The Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti was supposed to beat the AMD Vega 56 and it does that in most cases but not all.
The Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti is a great upgrade if you have a GTX 1060 or GTX 1050 but it might not be too tempting for people that already own the GTX 1070. There is another Nvidia Titan X coming out soon and you can check out more about that here. The upcoming Titan X could kill the GTX 1080 Ti but I am holding my judgments till we have numbers to see.
The AIB partners are not allowed to seel factory overclocked GPUs and that seems to be causing some issues as all the custom design cards have the same clock speeds as the Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti reference design models. These cards are not locked and you can overclock them manually.
Let us know what you think about the Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti and whether or not you are interested in buying one of these GPUs.
