Heroes of the Storm Makes Way for Hanzo and Alexstrasza, Voice Chat and Other New Features Confirmed

Heroes of the Storm is getting the legendary Hanzo sama of overwatch along with Alexstrasza. If you are fan of both games then this good news, right?

Blizzcon is underway and with it, we have a chance to see a lot of new announcements for Blizzard games. Along with a new expansion for World of Warcraft and another one for Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm is also getting some new cool stuff along with the appearance of two new heroes, Hanzo from Overwatch and Alexstrasza from World of Warcraft.

Dragons of the Nexus will be a new event for Heroes of the Storm in which Hanzo and Alexstrasza will become available as well as skins for them, new sprays and new portraits.

Hanzo is a ranged assassin, whose abilities look a lot like the ones he owns in Overwatch. While there’s not much to say about his skill set, seeing his Dragonstrike ultimate being available here too is a breath of fresh air because it looks as cool as it originally was in Overwatch.

Alexstrasza, on the other side, is a support hero that can heal allies both on target and AOE. If you look closely at her skill set you’ll notice that she can also deal a significant amount of damage to the enemies as she can transform to her original dragon form and empower her abilities.

Dragons of the Nexus comes with a big update to the game as well with changes coming to the camera view and stealth champions. As a new feature, voice chat will be added to Heroes of the Storm making it easier for you to communicate with your teammates during those ranked matches.

First of all, the Heroes of the Storm development team is slightly increasing the in-game field of view to help improve team fight clarity and overall visibility, which was clearly a problem with the game.

If you are a Nova of Zeratul main you should know that your role is changing a bit now as Blizzard is making stealth heroes visibility a little more obvious than it was before. To keep the heroes affected (Nova, Zeratul, Samuro, Valeera) balanced, Blizzard is doing some tweaks to their abilities so that they can adapt to this new rework.

Last but not least, with the start of Dragons of the Nexus ammo will be removed from the structures and they will be able to detect stealth characters that pass by them, so say goodbye to those stealthy nukes on the enemy Abathur you loved to do. Mercenaries will also get tweaked to make them more unique. You can see all changes on Heroes of the Storm official website.
