Xbox One X Games Updates Are Massive, May Put Off Many From Buying a Unit

Xbox One X games updates are massive and raise the size of most games close to or over 100GB. The size for games like Halo 5, Gears of War 4, and Quantum Break is touching 100GB. The size of Xbox One X HDD is 1TB which means 4K updates will take up most of the space.

Installing 10 or above games at 100GB on average won’t be possible. At some point in the next couple of months, most users playing at 4K will have to install another hard drive to Xbox One X. However, the major problem will be for those who have a slow internet connection. Downloading GBs of data is going to be a pain.

Xbox One X is releasing in a few days so it is best to prepare yourself for downloading large updates on day one. If you have a slow internet connection you may not be able to play your games on day one. Here are some of the games you can sit and wait to be downloaded on day one.

  • Dead Rising 4 – 4K
  • Deep Rock Galactic – 4K, HDR
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – HDR
