How to Tame Animals in AC Origins
First of all, you need to unlock the Animal Taming Ability from Bayek’s skill tree. To do that, open your menu and navigate over to the Abilities tab.

Now unlock Dawn and Dusk skill which can be found underneath the Seer section. Now unlock the Sleep Darts skill and keep on unlocking the various skills underneath it until you have unlocked the Animal Taming skill.

With this skill unlocked, you can tame animals. You will still need to do a number of things in order to successfully tame animals. Start by equipping your Sleep Darts to your D-Pad.

You need to make an animal fall asleep if you wish to tame it. Use the aforementioned skill to put the animal to sleep and approach them for taming. The actual taming is performed by pressing the Triangle or Y button.
