Activision Very Happy With Destiny 2 Sales, More Content Planned For Future
Destiny 2 has just launched for PC after a month of the game’s console launch and while the retail sales for the sequel were below expectations but, Activision is happy with Destiny 2 sales. Activision has also confirmed that there is a lot of content planned for Destiny 2.
Speaking during the recent financial call for Activision, the company noted that it is quite happy with Destiny 2 sales and confirmed that there are multiple teams working on Destiny 2 content. Activision being happy with the sales is hardly surprising since the game is the best selling console game in the US for 2017.
Activision has already confirmed the next expansion for Destiny 2 titled “Curse of Osiris”. Also, there is a report suggesting that Osiris himself will be an NPC on the expansion. According to the lore, he was exiled from the Tower and he sought the knowledge of the Vex. One line in particular strongly suggests that he will return.
Based on Lord Shaxx’s line “So the rumors are true. Osiris has returned” it is pretty clear that he indeed will be coming back.
Another voice file for Shaxx suggests that he not too happy about Osiris returning. “He’s dangerous. I don’t care what he says or what fool adventure he’s led you on”.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
