The rumored Razer Phone was officially announced earlier today as the first mobile device from the popular gaming hardware manufacturer.

It features a 5.7-inch screen that uses “UltraMotion”technology to deliver refresh rates up to 120 Hz at a video resolution of 1440p. Rather large bezels surround the housing, which might be less appealing to consumers.

In addition to 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage, the device comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers that pump audio certified by THX and powered by Dolby Atmos.

The Razer Phone is also equipped with a generous 4,000 mAh battery and the standard Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. On the back is a dual 12 MP camera system, where one camera has an f/1.8 lens for wide shots and the other is a telephoto f/2.6 shooter, while on the front is an 8 MP camera with a f/2.0 lens.

Razer has made it clear that its new product is aimed at those who love to game on their mobile devices. In that light, the Razer Phone will “fine tune your experience” with the company’s in-house Game Booster application for maximum performance at minimum thermal outputs.

The Razer Phone is on sale for $699.99 and the first wave of shipments will start rolling out on November 17. The device will launch with Android Nougat 7.1.1 and feature mostly-stock Android configuration. The hardware company has confirmed that the operating system will be upgraded to Oreo in the first quarter of the new year.
