Bin Laden Was Apparently A Fan Of Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil Games, And Anime

Usama Bin Laden was killed in 2011 during a raid on his compound by US Military Force and it seems that he was a fan of Final Fantasy VII as among many things recovered from his compound was a copy of Final Fantasy VII. Not only that the officials also found movies, Resident Evil Games, and anime in his laptop.

The news comes from The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) who publically revealed that they found Final Fantasy VII in his compound. According to officials, they found Arabic-subtitled anime, pirated games, movies and other media.

According to the officials, among the copyrighted material they recovered from Bin Laden’s laptop included Antz, Batman: Gotham Knight, and Final Fantasy VII. The officials also found Zuma Deluxe and Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 installed on the laptop.

Speaking of Final Fantasy, Square Enix is currently working on Final Fantasy VII remake exclusively for PlayStation 4. The remake will also feature the original voice actor for Cloud Strife “Steve Burton”.

Steve Burton has a history of working with Square Enix on a number of projects. He also lent his voice to a character in the Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children CGI film.

Also, Square-Enix has confirmed that the upcoming remake will feature action based combat instead of the command based which was featured in the original game. Game director, Tetsuya Nomura, confirmed in an interview the game will feature action based combat.

Final Fantasy VII remake is an action RPG in development at Square Enix and will launch exclusively for PlayStation 4.
