Zotac GTX 1070 Ti Custom Overclocking Profiles Address The Overclocking Restrictions
The Zotac GTX 1070 Ti Mini is one of our favorite versions of the Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti but due to new regulations from Nvidia that do not allow AIB partners to overclock GPUs for out of the box use it is getting difficult for companies to differentiate their graphics card variants from the rest of the competition.
Zotac GTX 1070 Ti custom overclocking profiles are one way of addressing the issue. The Zotac overclocking utility, FireStorm does not have OC or silent modes that is where the Zotac GTX 1070 Ti custom overclocking profiles come into play.
Zotac has provided custom profiles so all you need to do is download them and apply them in the software and your graphics card should be overclocked. This might not be the most convenient way of getting things done but at least you can do so if you wanted to. The Zotac GTX 1070 Ti custom overclocking profiles are as follows:
This might be the only logical way that Zotac can deliver overclocking features to customers without violating the Nvidia restrictions and in my opinion, these restrictions are pretty dumb. AIB partners are going to get the performance to customers in one way or another so why not make it easier for the customer and have factory overclocking out of the box in the first place?
While overclocking is not something that all people take into account it is important to remember that this is an enthusiast GPU that we are talking about here and you are paying a lot of money for the graphics card. Overclocking is something to consider in the long run when you are spending so much money on your graphics card.
Let us know what you think about the Zotac GTX 1070 Ti and these restrictions that Nvidia has put on AIB partners.
