Originally, NetherRealm Studios’s fighting game Injustice 2 was only available on the Xbox One and PC. However, now an Injustice 2 PC version is on its way, and its beta starts tomorrow. This allows PC players to be able to get their hands on one of the best fighting games of the year.
Injustice 2 is the direct sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, a fighting game that pitted the various heroes and villains of the DC Universe of comics against one another as Batman and the Justice League fought to stop a now-evil alternate Superman from taking over both his world and their own. The game came out in 2013 and got positive reviews, and Injustice 2 has managed to do even better.
Injustice 2 picks up where the original game left off, with Alternate Superman now imprisoned, but with Earth facing an invasion from the evil cyborg known as Brainiac. With the Justice League devastated, Superman’s Regime still fighting in the shadows, and the villainous Society rising to fill the vacuum, Batman must find a way to save the world from Brainiac while other new heroes and villains make their own appearances.
There’s no Steam page yet for the Injustice 2 PC version, and the Injustice 2 website doesn’t seem to have any information on how to join the beta. However, hopefully Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios will give out some information on how to participate in the beta.
We’ll also likely be getting an Injustice 2 Steam page sometime before the game releases, or maybe even when the beta comes out (which will hopefully be the place where we can access the beta).
So, if you’ve been waiting for an Injustice 2 PC version, you’ll only have a little while longer to wait before NetherRealm Studios gives you what you want, allowing you to step into the boots of your favorite DC characters to kick some butt.
