It was last week when Riot Games revealed that it originally set out to make one skin for Blitzcrank in League of Legends. The designing process, though, somehow led the team to end up with a complimentary second skin.
Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank and Lancer Rogue Blitzcrank feature a light-versus-dark theme very similar to what we saw with Dawnbringer Riven and Nightbringer Yasuo a few months back. The difference is that the two skins here are for the same champion and not legendary in nature despite what the previews suggest.
Earlier today, both of the new Lancer skins for Blitzcrank made their way on to the Public Beta Environment (PBE) for a closer look. In addition, Riot Games also stepped forward to publish a teaser for the upcoming skins.
Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank and Lancer Rogue Blitzcrank feature new character models that are colored in bright white and jade for the former and steely dark grey and amber for the latter. Both also feature new recall animations where the Paragon version flies into the sky while the Rogue one drills through the ground itself. Riot Games has also included new sound and visual effects, as well as new animations for the abilities of the champions.
Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank and Lancer Rogue Blitzcrank will be priced at 1350 RP each. Players can choose which of the two to add to their inventory of skins based on their persona liking or gameplay style. Those interested in getting both will be able to take advantage of a bundle that comes at 1820 RP.
Blitzcrank should receive his two new skins in League of Legends with the release of Patch 7.22 early next month.
