Destiny 2 has launched for PC and the game’s files have already been datamined which hints that Osiris will be coming to Destiny 2 as an NPC in the Tower which seems to be in line with the game’s first expansion titled “Curse of Osiris”.
The dataminer found a collection of audio files which hint the return of Osiris in Destiny 2 Tower as an NPC. According to the lore, he was exiled from the Tower and he sought the knowledge of the Vex. One line in particular strongly suggests that he will return.
Based on Lord Shaxx’s line “So the rumors are true. Osiris has returned” it is pretty clear that he indeed will be coming back. Another voice file for Shaxx suggests that he not too happy about Osiris returning. “He’s dangerous. I don’t care what he says or what fool adventure he’s led you on”.
It seems that Osiris will be the guy who will send you on missions in Curse of Osiris expansion. You can check out the other audio files by following this link.
In related news, many PC players are being banned in Destiny 2 and the initial speculation was that the use of third-party apps is causing these bans. However, Bungie has clarified that third-party apps are not the cause of these bans as they will only stop you from playing the game.
Also, Bungie has explained why it postponed Trials Of The Nine instead of just disabling the emote. According to Bungie community manager, Chris “Cozmo” Spencer, Bungie did consider disabling the emote that caused the glitch which allowed players to go through walls and get an advantage but, this option wasn’t viable.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC version is developed by Vicarious Visions and is now available.
