Take A Look At How Beautiful Halo 3 Looks On Xbox One X
Xbox One X launch is over a week away and the console will be getting a slew of enhanced titles including the Halo 5 and Halo: The Masterchief Collection and now Microsoft has revealed a couple of new videos showcasing the difference the console will make to Halo 3 while it runs it at 4K resolution.
The first video, which you can see above, showcases Halo 3, High Ground, running on Xbox One via backward compatibility and the enhanced version of the game running on Xbox One X and the result it quite phenomenal as the textures become much more sharper and there is more detail in the enhanced version.
The second video, which you can see below, showcases the Pit and the results here are also very noticeable as the detail in the environments increase significantly and the image quality overall is also improved on Xbox One X.
Halo franchise is among the most popular exclusive franchises for Xbox but, according to FPS control designer at Bungie, Jaime Griesemer, Microsoft hated the name Halo for its mega FPS franchise.
He added that Microsoft had so many reasons to change the name of Halo franchise and months went on for deciding the name for the game.
They said that it doesn’t mean anything, and to people it does mean something to, it’s not on-brand, because what we’re selling is the super soldier, not this weird space junk. In every foreign language it sounds stupid, it’s feminine–they had so many reasons why the name should be changed. They went for months and months, and they came back with a bunch of names. It was another border dispute.
Xbox One X will be available on November 7, 2017, and titles such as Forza Motorsport 7, Gears Of War 4, and other third-party titles will be enhanced for it.
