EVGA GTX 1070 Ti Pictured: 4 Models Coming With Custom PCB And ICX Cooling
The EVGA GTX 1070 Ti has been spotted and there seem to be 4 models coming out. The names of the different GPUs have not been disclosed like MSI because it seems that EVGA has stopped mentioning the naming scheme on their boxes. All things considered, at least we know that there are models from EVGA. You should also check out our roundup of everything that we know about the Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti.
The ICX EVGA GTX 1070 Ti models feature a black and silver theme. There is also a custom PCB version and a blower style reference design model coming out. The graphics card is going to be announced on the 26th of this month so there is not a long time left. The GPU will be launched next month. We have got confirmations for the versions from Asus, Zotac, MSI and Gigabyte.
The GTX 1070 Ti specifications are pretty close to the GTX 1080 and the graphics card features 432 CUDA cores and 152 Texture Mapping Units this means that the GPU will have 128 CUDA cores and 12 TMUs less than the GTX 1080. The only downside is that unlike the GDDR5X memory that is featured in the GTX 1080, the GTX 1070 Ti comes with GDDR5 memory.
The GTX 1070 Ti is coming out in order to compete with the AMD Vega 56 but the leaked benchmarks do not support that claim. You can check out the benchmarks here and you can check out the pictures of the graphics card here.
It should be noted that these are early benchmarks and that the performance should get better with drivers and better optimization. Nvidia has dominated the graphics card market and it is unlikely that the AMD VEga 56 is going to go unchallenged.
Let us know what you think about the EVGA GTX 1070 Ti and whether or not you are interested in buying the GPU when it comes out.
