While the GTX 1070 Ti has been all the hype these days it seems that as the announcement of the GPU is coming closer we are getting more leaks. This time KFA2 has updated their product page ahead of time and we have got a look a the KFA2 custom GTX 1070 Ti. The GTX 1070 Ti will be taking on the AMD Vega 56.
We recently saw benchmarks of the GTX 1070 Ti and the AMD Vega 56 and they seemed like early benchmarks as the GPU from team Green was unable to beat the AMD Vega 56 and you can check out the numbers here. Also, check out the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti that was leaked previously.
The KFA2 custom GTX 1070 Ti has a base clock of 1607 MHz and can boost to 1683 MHz. The card also features 8.00 GHz GDDR5 memory. According to the specifications, the card will come with 2,432 CUDA cores, 152 TMUs, 64 ROPs and 256-bit memory bus. You will need 6+8 pin power connectors to power this graphics card. You can check out the images below:
The product page makes it clear that this is a graphics card for the enthusiasts and that it comes overclocked out of the box. According to the description:
offers a new groundbreaking design for the gaming elite and blazing fast clock speeds right out of the box
For display output, you have DVI-D, HDMI, and 3x DP 1.4. Although another HDMI port would have been great for VR support, I guess you will have to make do with what you have. I am sure there will be custom versions of the GPU coming out later on that will have an extra HDMI port.
A 500W PSU is recommended to power this graphics card and while the initial benchmarks did not seem too promising I am sure that driver updates and optimizations will make performance much better and get the GPU on par with the AMD Vega 56.
Let us know what you think about the KFA2 custom GTX 1070 Ti.
