Assassin’s Creed Origins Will Use Dynamic Resolution For All Console Versions
Ubisoft has already confirmed that the Xbox One X version of Assassin’s Creed Origins will use the dynamic resolution for the best experience and now the game director has confirmed that the game will use dynamic resolution for all consoles.
Game Director, Ashraf Ismail, confirmed in a recent interview that all console versions of the Assassin’s Creed Origins will use dynamic resolution even the PS4 Pro. The reason for that is obvious to keep a stable FPS while getting the most out of the console’s hardware.
Battlefield 1, Doom and many other games use the dynamic resolution to keep a stable FPS while getting the most out of the console’s hardware. As for the base consoles, the resolution might drop below 1080p but, for Xbox One X we are sure that it will at least maintain 1080p at the minimum because of its powerful hardware.
In related news, Ubisoft has confirmed that it is staying away from “Floating Collectibles” in the upcoming title and will only include content that adds something meaningful to the game.
Ubisoft is staying away from floating collectibles that were jam-packed in previous titles and Assassin’s Creed Origins will only include content and even collectibles that add value not the other way around.
Not only is Egypt a place you want to explore because it’s a world of unique locations but by taking the time to go there you’re going to find something that has value for you, whether that’s lore or gameplay. We’re staying far away from what we call ‘floating collectibles’. We want things in the world to have meaning.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is an upcoming action RPG in development at Ubisoft and is scheduled to launch on October 27, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
