There will apparently be at least 39 different guns, according to the leaked Call of Duty WW2 targeting reticules that just came out today. The various different reticules could also be part of a variety of different scopes you can put on your gun for customization, but that’s not confirmed yet.
The various reticules range form the default ones to a number of different more specialized reticules that could be any number of other weapons and scopes. Some of these have numbers pointing towards the possibility that they might be sniper rifles, but there’s also a number of other weapons that have rather odd reticules in them.
While we’ve seen a lot of different Call of Duty WW2 guns in the beta for the game’s various platforms, there’s also the possibility that many other different weapons will also be available. Battlefield 1 brought a whole bunch of different experimental weapons into public knowledge, so there’s also the possibility that Call of Duty WW2 will do the same thing.
The leak about the Call of Duty WW2 targeting reticules is only the most recent leak out of the game, which has come as a result of data mining during the beta periods (especially on the PC, where things like this normally happen.) Michael Condrey, the lead designer for the game, has expressed disapproval at the large amount of leaks coming from the game, but hopefully there won’t be as many in the weeks leading up to the game.
Numerous other leaks about Call of Duty WW2 have included the Prestige system, contracts, the game’s quartermaster, and more such as the Special Edition and Season Pass, have also been leaked before the game released.
Either way, we’ll be able to see what weapons these Call of Duty WW2 targeting reticules correspond to when the game releases on November 3 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. To see the various targeting reticules, just follow this link.
