Rumored Razer Phone Specifications: 2K Display, SnapDragon 835, 8GB RAM

We got a tweet regarding the Razer Phone announcement that will take place in November and now the internet is going crazy with speculations and rumors regarding the upcoming Razer Phone. Keep in mind that Razer designs products for gamers, so you can expect some serious hardware packed inside. That seems to be true according to the rumored Razer Phone specifications.

According to the rumored Razer Phone specifications, the device will be powered by the SnapDragon 835 which is based on the 10-nanometer design and is 35% smaller and uses 25% less power as compared to previous designs. The processor is efficient enough to ensure long battery life and powerful enough to support VR and AR.

AR and VR are pretty hot these days but for that, you need a pretty decent screen and that could be one of the reasons why the Razer Phone specifications mention a 2K display. This is not something mind-bending, we have seen 2K displays in other phones as well but it is an ideal resolution to have on a smartphone. The display will be 5.7 inches diagonally.

According to the rumored Razer Phone specifications, the device will come with 8 GB of RAM which seems like overkill but it will ensure smooth multitasking and quick response. The leaked spec also mention an 11 MP back camera and a 7 MP front-facing camera. The back camera will support 4K video and HDR photos.

We have seen what happened with the Windows mobile platform so it is safe to assume that Razer is going to use its own skin of Android and that seems to be the case according to these rumored Razer Phone specifications. They mention a Razer edition of Android 7.1.1. You can check out more information here.

The Razer Phone will come with 64 GB of internal storage and the leaks do not mention whether or not there will be an option for expansions. While the price has not been leaked, looking at the rumored Razer Phone specifications, it is safe to assume that this is a flagship device and will have a premium price tag. Expect to pay $800 if not more for the Razer Phone.
