Shadow Of War

The AMD Vega 64 seems to be making a name for itself as this is the third time that it is beating Nvidia at its game. First, it was Forza 7, then Warhammer 2 and now we see the AMD Vega 64 and 56 beat the Nvidia GTX 1080 in Shadow of War at 4K. Shadow of War is one of the most anticipated games of the year and driver support for the game is already out.

At 1080p the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti comes out on top at 95 FPS followed by the AMD Vega 64 at 83 FPS. At third place we have the Nvidia GTX 1080 at 75 FPS followed by the AMD Vega 56 with 70 FPS. After that we have the Nvidia GTX 1070 with 62 FPS. You can clearly see the need for the Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti from these numbers.

Moving on to Shadow of War 1440p benchmarks we have the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti on top again with 81 FPS followed by the AMD Vega 64 at 69 FPS. This is a big gap I will admit. The Nvidia GTX 1080 is not too far off at 63 FPS followed by the AMD Vega 56 at 60 FPS. Then we have the Nvidia GTX 1070 at 52 FPS.

Moving on to Shadow of Mordor 4K benchmarks, the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti comes on top with 53 FPS. The AMD vega 64 comes in at second place with 48 FPS and the AMD Vega 56 is close behind with 41.6 FPS. The Nvidia GTX 1080, in this case, only managed to deliver 40 FPS. You can check out the benchmarks here.
