The Assassin’s Creed Origins Season Pass content has been revealed, and will include two new packs dealing with other side stories in the game, and will be releasing alongside a number of other activities such as the discovery tour, a horde mode, a photo mode, and much much more.
To start off with, the season pass content for Assassin’s Creed Origins will get a Roman Centurion pack, allowing Bayek to use weapons inspired by the Roman Republic, which was responsible for bringing down the Ptolemaic Dynasty of Egypt around this time. Also included is a much more Egyptian-inspired Horus pack.
The two different story DLCs that will be coming as part of the Assassin’s Creed Origins Season Pass will then be coming out in the first few months of 2018. The first one, The Hidden Ones, will serve as a sort of epilogue to the game, while the second pack, called “Curse of the Pharoahs”, will most likely be a mission pack that takes place during the actual game. They will come out in January and March, respectively.
Along with the Assassin’s Creed Origins Season Pass content, there will also be a large amount of free content for us to play. These include a photo mode to capture particular moments in the game, a mechanic called the “Nomad’s Bazaar”, and several battle modes including Trial of the Gods and a Horde Mode, which will help you to improve your combat skills and will test your platforming.
Along with the Horde Mode will be the Assassin’s Creed Origins Discovery Tour, which will allow you to run around ancient Egypt without the threat of a time limit, enemies, or a story; you won’t have to worry about anything as you wander around the map, learning about the various facets of ancient Egyptian culture.
All of these will be available at different times when Assassin’s Creed Origins comes out. The actual game will release later this month on October 27 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
