DICE’s Iconic Long Neck Glitch Has Made A Comeback In Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta will be ending today and gamers are enjoying the game, however, the infamous long neck glitch from DICE’s Battlefield 3 and 4, which was a source of a lot of memes, has made its way to Star Wars Battlefront 2.
This infamous glitch in Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta was discovered by Reddit user “Rowger00” who also posted a screenshot as a proof that the glitch indeed popped up in Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta. While glitches are frustrating but, this glitch falls into the amusing category and I have a feeling that if this persists in the final version it might spawn a ton of new memes on the internet.
It is yet unclear what causes this glitch to appear but, if we have to guess then this glitch might be because of the Frostbite engine as all three games, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 use Frostbite engine. Hope this glitch generates some laughs instead of frustration.
Also, in the anticipation of the Star Wars Battlefront 2’s launch, Disney has restored multiplayer servers for 2005′ Star Wars Battlefront 2.
2005’s Star Wars Battlefront 2 multiplayer support has been restored and the game will also support cross-play between GOG and Steam which will allow in faster matchmaking.
Star Wars: Battlefront II (Classic, 2005), the critically acclaimed shooter of massively entertaining warfare, has received a critical update. Powered by GOG Galaxy, the multiplayer function of the game has now been restored AND with added Crossplay support between GOG Galaxy and Steam.
Many gamers are still skeptical about the upcoming Star Wars title as didn’t live up to the expectations. However, developers believe that there is no reason that fans would not want to be a part of Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a first-person action shooter in development at DICE and is scheduled to launch this fall for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
