G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 RAM has already been released for AMD Ryzen as well as Intel Kaby lake-X. Now the G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 4600 RAM kits for Intel Coffee Lake have also been unveiled. These include both RGB and non-RGB variants for Z370 motherboards. The kits are based on Samsung dies and made for high performance.
The RGB version runs at 4000 MHz and has timings of CL18-19-19-39. The kit comprises of 4×8 GB DIMMs, giving you a total of 32 GB of RAM. The non-RGB G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 kits run at 4600 MHz and this is the fasted option that you can go for. The RAM has timings of CL19-25-25-45 and is available in a 16 GB kit, which you get in the form of 2×8 GB DIMMs.
Another version of the G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 RAM for Intel Coffee Lake runs at 4200 MHz. This has been designed for people that use their PCs for content creation. The RAM has timings of CL19-21-21-41 and the kit comprises of 4×8 GB modules which give you 32 GB in total.
Pricing of the G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 kits have not been disclosed yet but we know that the G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 RGB and the non-RGB versions will be available in November 2017. The G.Skill Trident Z is a premium brand and you can expect to pay a premium for these DIMMs keeping in mind how much the price of RAM has increased over the past 12 months.
