A beta player for the PC version of the Call of Duty: WW2 beta has done some data mining, and has managed to uncover a large amount of new Call of Duty WW2 zombies info, including the maps we’ll be playing on, perks for characters, classes, and weapons, plus gameplay features.
This newest iteration of Call of Duty’s popular game mode will be stepping away from the campy, arcade-y sort of zombie-killing minigame, instea going back to the more horror-like roots that the mode started off with. Players will be part of a special squad that has been sent into the German region of Bavaria in order to find a secret Nazi facility. You find it…and the zombies that have overrun it.
According to the new Call of Duty WW2 zombies info, while there will only be one map (at first), “The Final Reich”, there will be plenty of different perks that players will be able to get in order to increase their survivability during the game. For instance, there’s the Schildblitz perk, which causes a burst of electricity when you reload, damaging zombies around you and potentially saving your life.
Other perks include Heilblitz, which doubles your maximum health, Faustblitz, which increases your melee damage, and Kugelblitz, which increases your weapon damage.
Players will be able to take four different classes, each one with a different specialty, and that can all have their own perks. Classes will also come with a certain ability called “Fury”, which will allow you to one-hit-kill any weaker zombies just with a melee attack, allowing you to conserve ammunition.
