Star Wars Battlefront 2 Rey – How to Play
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Rey Abilities
Dash Strike can be used both offensively and defensively. Using Dash Strike makes Rey charge into enemies with her lightsaber outstretched. This ability can be used to attack enemies or run away from them depending on the situation that you find yourself in.
Insight is great for players who like the strategic aspect of the game as it allows you to see all enemies in a limited radius. While this ability is active, Rey has increased stamina and damage. This ability can be used to either scan an area before you enter it or to prepare for battle because of its increase in stats.
Mind Trick is another ability which is quite unique and deadly in the right circumstance. Mind Trick allows Rey to render her enemies dazed and confused in a radius around her.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Rey Tips and Strategies
To play well with Rey, you need to be quite a bit smarter and strategic than usual. You absolutely have to utilize her abilities correctly if you want to succeed with her.
Try to start the battle with some Insight, then use Mind Trick to confuse your opponents, before finally charging in with Dash Strike unleash your wrath upon your enemy.
Another useful tip to remember is that Rey can block Blaster Shots with her Lightsaber. To do this, all you need to do is to go into blocking mode by pressing the same button that you would use to aim downy our sights. You know she is in blocking mode if her Lightsaber is horizontal instead of vertical.
It is also worthwhile to remember that the shots that you block will be deflected back so try to hit enemies with them. There is also a limit to how many shots which she can block.
Rey is also able to slide by pressing the same key that she would use to roll. Then you can just select the direction that you want to slide to. This ability can be used both offensively and defensively. You can also use this ability to move through corridors to leave your opponents a little confused and frustrated.
Lastly, Rey is vulnerable from the sides and her back. You will take a lot of damage from these directions so watch out.
