Shadow Of War Street Date Broken 5 Days Ahead Of Official Launch
Shadow Of War is less than a week away from launch but, the game’s street date has been broken 5 days ahead of it. Some lucky players have got their hands on physical and digital copies of Shadow Of War early. According to Reddit user Frackbird, he is playing Shadow Of War through game sharing in Canada.
According to the Redditor, “I’m on Xbox One, Canada, game purchased on an American Xbox (game sharing) and we both have access to the game right now. Currently on I think the second mission? Can supply proof if needed, but I am mostly looking for confirmation that others have access”.
The Redditor also stated streaming Shadow Of War on Twitch as a proof that he has got his hands on the game. However, Twitch quickly shut down the stream. With the game’s street date broken, beware of the spoilers on the internet.
Developer Monolith Productions has faced quite a backlash for including micro-transactions in the upcoming title, however, the studio has assured that the game will be balanced and the loot boxes will allow them to expand the game.
However, there is a report making rounds on the internet that suggests Shadow Of War DLC Orcs are one-time use only. Meaning if players decide to start a new game, the DLC Orcs will not be available to them again.
Also, Shadow of War publisher Warner Bros faced quite a backlash for its Shadow Of War Forthog Orc-Slayer DLC and now the DLC is no longer a paid DLC and is now available for free. According to Warner Bros, the DLC is now available for free due to legal complications and confusion among the community regarding the DLC.
Shadow Of War is an open-world action adventure game in development at Monolith Productions and is scheduled to launch on October 10, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
