Respawn Entertainment has been supporting Titanfall 2 with new updates, game modes, and content and the studio intends to continue the game’s support throughout the remaining year as the studio has revealed its plans for Titanfall 2.
In its recent blog, Respawn Entertainment revealed that it will be rolling out patches for Titanfall 2 in October, November, and December. However, these patches will focus on “quality of life, bug fixes [like that pesky Tone Particle Wall bug], and balance changes”.
Furthermore, the studio plans to roll out new weapon skins through the end of the year for players to purchase. The studio is looking to roll out Elite skin for most of the primary weapons.
As for the Featured Mode spot, the studio will keep rotating it and players will get to try new stuff that the studio will be talking more about later this month. The studio plans to add more community made call-signs and players will have the opportunity to submit art and the best one will be included in the game.
Titanfall 2 launched last year with stellar reviews from critics and players alike, however, the game couldn’t meet EA’s sales expectations and many blame the game’s release window was the reason behind it. However, the studio has clarified that the game was successful.
According to Respawn’s Vince Zampella, the game was successful and sold well, however, he believes that the game should have sold even more and also acknowledged that the game’s release window was partly the reason behind it.
Respawn Entertainment is also working on a Star Wars title but, has clarified that they won’t be revealing anything about it anytime soon. Not much is known about Respawn’s Star Wars game except that it will be an action-adventure third-person title.
Titanfall 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Respawn Entertainment for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
