The BlizzCon 2017 schedule has been released, promises announcements for everything except Diablo
With just another month to go, Blizzard has released the complete schedule for BlizzCon 2017. Prepare yourselves for a special weekend of exciting announcements and competitive tournaments for the company’s flagship intellectual properties.
Following an opening ceremony, each game will get a specific block of time to relay what is coming for players in the near future. This begins with World of Warcraft and StarCraft II, followed by Hearthstone and Overwatch; ending with Heroes of the Storm taking the stage later in the day.
As mentioned last week, BlizzCon 2017 will not feature any announcements relating to Diablo III or the franchise in general. The developer hopes to convey more on its plans in the time to come. The release schedule confirms this as much. However, fans can still expect a couple of panels that explore the visual effects of the Necromancer and content creators from within the community.
Elsewhere, the two-day convention will host esports events for all four games. This includes the Heroes of the Storm Community Gauntlet, finals of the Overwatch World Cup and StarCraft II World Championship Series, Hearthstone Global Championship, and World of Warcraft Arena World Championship.
BlizzCon 2017 will take place between November 3-4 and once again see hundreds of fans coming together under a single roof to have fun and celebrate the past months of offerings.
