EA has just released a Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta trailer that is advertising the features you’ll be playing in the beta. The beta will become available this week, and will be the precursor to the game coming out on November 17 for the Xbox One, the Playstation 4, and the PC.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is, of course, the sequel to the Star Wars Battlefront reboot that was developed and released by DICE back in 2015. While that game got a lot of criticism despite its solid gameplay for a lack of content (you could only play on four planets, each with only a few maps) and lack of space combat, Battlefront 2 is going to be reversing all of that, and the beta will confirm it.
The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta trailer advertises epic ground combat and intense space battles, with players being able to fight across all three eras of Star Wars, ranging from the original trilogy to the prequels to the sequels that began back in 2015 as well. There will also be more planets available to fight on.
Gamers playing the beta will be able to take part in the Galactic Assault mode on Naboo, the Starfighter Assault mode on Fondor, and the close-quarters Strike mode on Takodana in Maz Kanata’s castle. Players will also be able to try the game’s Arcade Mode, which will also take place on Naboo.
The beta will only be open to people that pre-ordered the game at first when it opens up on October 4, on Wednesday. However, on October 6, Friday, the beta will become open to everyone, and will last until October 9, giving everyone plenty of time to play the game.
To see the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta trailer for yourself, you can look further up the article, and otherwise be ready for both the beta when it starts later this week, and for the actual game when it releases on November 17.
