This Cuphead Endings Guide will highlight exactly what you need to do to unlock both of the endings and what those endings contain.
By the time you have spent countless blood, sweat, and tears to get past the first three worlds of Cuphead and into the finale, you will be spent enough to not realize that there are two possible finales in the game and both can be unlocked at the same time.
As you know, there are two bosses that you face in the final stage of the game. Read on to find out how you can witness the different endings.
To unlock the Bad Cuphead, you need to start fighting The Devil and agree to hand over the Soul Contracts when asked to in the opening cutscene. In this conclusion, both Cuphead and Mughead are seen having gone insane and are rotting in hell with the Devil.
Choosing this ending will unlock the ‘Selling Out’ achievement.
This is known as Good Cuphead. In this ending, you start off in the same way as you did previously by fighting The Devil but you chose not to hand him the Soul Contracts.
Now you need to beat the Devil to unlock the ending. At the end of this, you run over home and tell everyone how they are now safe. Everyone is happy in the ever after.
Choosing this ending will unlock the ‘Swing You Sinner’ achievement.
