Destiny 2 Weapons Balancing Hinted By Bungie

Destiny 2 is all about finding the perfect gear that suit player’s play style and it seems that Bungie is looking into some weapon balancing for Destiny 2. Bungie has hinted that Destiny 2 weapons will be balanced in the near future with an update and has been monitoring weapon balance situation across the entire game.

In the latest weekly blog, senior designer Jon Weisnewski talked about Destiny 2 weapons balancing and revealed that he has got his hands on “first real batch of player data”. He added that it is too soon to announce any Destiny 2 weapons changes but, assured that they are coming.

We’re not ready to go into detail about any weapon or ability tuning at this point, but there is an ongoing process in play, so we did want to drop a quick line and say…We have heard your feedback. Thank you!

He further added that the team is looking very closely at MIDA Multi-Tool and given that a lot of players are using it but, he noted that this doesn’t necessarily mean that the weapon is overpowered. “There are options out there that match or exceed its effectiveness in all activities”.

He also added that there are a few weapons that are yet to release and is excited to see how things evolve in Destiny 2.

Gamers have been enjoying Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid which is quite difficult especially the Pleasure Gardens trial which is even difficult to complete with a full strike team. However, the trial has been completed by a duo, the prolific tag team Epicookiez and Slayerage.

Also, details have been leaked regarding the Destiny 2 Iron Banner event which starts next month.

Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and the PC version will launch in October.
