PC Master Race Can Rejoice As WWE 2K18 PC Version Will Get Released Alongside Consoles

Another “first” marks WWE 2K18 this year and it’s the release date of its PC version. As announced today, the game will come to our PC the same day as it will release for Playstation 4 and Xbox One, making it the first WWE 2K title to do that.

WWE 2K18 will be available through Steam and other platforms on October 17th but there’s a catch. PC gamers will not get the Early Access Deluxe Edition feature, given to the consoles so that’s a minor setback. While technically the release on all platforms will be on the same date, Playstation 4 and Xbox One owners who pre-ordered the game will get their hands on it 4 days before it comes out.

Even though PC lovers get to play WWE 2K18 the same date as console gamers this year, Nintendo Switch owners don’t share the same luck as a release date for a Switch version is not yet announced but expected this fall.

The game will have 3 editions: the Standard Edition which includes the game and 2 playable versions of Kurt Angle, the Deluxe Edition which is basically the standard Edition plus the 4 day early access for consoles with 2 more playable versions of John Cena and playable legends Batista and Rob Van Dam.

There is also a Collector’s Edition called Cena Nuff Edition which includes everything stated above plus:

  • Copy of WWE 2K18 video game with premium Collector’s Edition packaging.
  • Exclusive Mattel John Cena “Cena (Nuff)” Action Figure
  • Limited Edition Fanatics Commemorative Plaque Featuring a Piece of the Ring Mat and Autographed Photo from John Cena’s 16th World Championship Victory at Royal Rumble 2017
  • Bonus WWE SuperCard Content: Limited Edition in-game cards of John Cena, Batista and RVD along with a special Cena (Nuff) Card Back.

WWE 2K18 is set for release on October 17th for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One with its Nintendo Switch edition coming later this fall.
