Some new Cyberpunk 2077 details that have been released by CD Projekt RED, the developers of the Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077, have now been shown to the internet at large. While there aren’t many, they’re still a good few quality-of-life changes that players can look at until the game actually releases.
We already know a good number of things about the game. Instead of numerous character classes that you’d normally see in games like this, players can be things like an executive, a rock star, a journalist, a mercenary, and other things like that, though as of yet we don’t really know what each of those classes would be able to do.
Other Cyberpunk 2077 details include that the game will take place in one single city in the mildly-distant future of 2077, where roboticism and genetic enhancement are now commonplace. We don’t really have any details about the story of the game, but maybe once the game actually gets closer to release we’ll have some idea of what will be happening.
Another thing that CD Projekt RED decided to reveal about the game was that it would feature one of the quintessential means of future transportation: flying cars. This will likely be some sort of fast-travel system, but hopefully there’ll be an option to allow you to look out over the city as the car flies to wherever you need to drive it.
Yet more Cyberpunk 2077 details include the ability to customize your character in addition to your class (so you won’t have to look at the snow-white haired, yellow-eyed, scarred and grizzly mug of Geralt of Rivia in the game).
While there still isn’t any confirmed release date for Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED hopes to release the game sometime in late 2018 or early 2019, so there’s still a good ways to go and a long time to wait until we see what CD Projekt RED wants to do next.
