Xbox One X Will Last 3-4 Years, Designed to be Future Proof: Microsoft

When asked if Xbox One X will last for at least 3-4 years, Aaron Greenberg stated that they have designed it to be future proof.

Xbox One X got a proper reveal at this year’s E3 and we got to see the most powerful console in the world. However, how long can even the most powerful console last? Well, according to Microsoft, Xbox One is designed to be future-proof.

When asked if Xbox One X will last for at least 3-4 years, Aaron Greenberg stated that they have designed it to be future proof. 3-4 years is the minimum every console lasts before another machine comes out. But since Microsoft is calling it an extension to Xbox One, an upgrade, will we not see a new console for the next 3-4 years?

Sony will come with its PlayStation 5 and the company will do its best to make Xbox One X look obsolete which is a problem for Microsoft. Possibly, Xbox One X and the Next Xbox will run parallel, similar to Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
