Xbox One X Launch Won’t Even Scratch the Surface of the Eventual Extra Possibilities According To T.J. Wagner
The Xbox One X is going to be the most powerful console to hit the market and analysts predict that it will open new doors of opportunity. T.J. Wagner, creative director and executive producer for World Of Tanks on consoles, talked about the game and the enhancements the game will feature on Xbox One X.
The game will feature enhanced features on the Xbox One X that means that the game will run at 4K resolution with HDR on the upcoming console. The game will also have higher resolution textures as well as shorter loading times on the console. The new and improved hardware offers a lot of power and we will have to see how the game looks with all the added features.
According to T.J. Wagner, the console will offer much more to the industry and that is possible keeping in mind the intelligent delivery system that we talked about recently. This delivery system will allow games to become smaller by allowing players to download the parts of the game that they are actually going to use. This will save storage and bandwidth. According to Wagner:
I was actually at Microsoft for the first Xbox. I’m glad to see that they’re innovating within the same generation, first with the Xbox one S and now with the Xbox One X. They’re not waiting forever to upgrade the console, or upgrade too soon with a whole new platform so you have to start again with your development tools and engine.
The intelligent delivery system is just a start and I am sure that there will be other technologies down the line that will make things easier for the end consumer. These technologies will be possible due to the introduction of the Xbox One X. Wagner also appreciated that there are different consoles in the same generation for different kinds of people. He further said that:
So I’m really excited that there are different levels of the Xbox for the different types of consumers. Ss a very early adopter of 4K HDR TVs, I’m starved for content that takes full advantage of the hardware I bought. I think there are a lot of people out there that are like that, especially gamers, so having a platform come out that supports true 4K, perhaps helps you justify your purchase to your significant other [laughs].
While we are getting all kind of rumors and reports regarding the upcoming Xbox One X, this analyst seems to be very excited about the upcoming console and is looking forward to the release this November. In the end, Wagner said that:
And it allows you to do greater things with games, too. I think the launch is going to look beautiful, and not even scratch the surface of the possibilities of the extras you’re going to eventually be able to do with, say, VR or AR on that particular platform.
