Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2 will be coming out for Nintendo Switch later this year and Capcom has rolled out new trailers for both that give us a brief introduction to the games.
The Nintendo Switch versions of Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2 will feature Joy-Con control schemes along with HD Rumble. Resident Evil Revelations will feature the Raid mode while Resident Evil Revelations 2 will feature online and local co-op.
In related news, Capcom has announced the Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition. This special edition will include the complete base game in addition to both volumes of the “Banned Footage” DLCs. The Gold Edition will also include the brand new “End of Zoe” add-on which is a Zoe Baker after-story.
This piece of downloadable content will be available for 1,500 yen and will launch alongside the free “Not a Hero” DLC on December 14.
Also, a Resident Evil 2 Board game is in the works. Steamforged Games has started a Kickstarter for Resident Evil 2 board game. The game will be set in the world of Resident Evil 2 and the project has been approved by Capcom. No details have been revealed regarding the Resident Evil 2 board game and the Kickstarter campaign will start in Autumn.
The latest entry is Resident Evil franchise is Resident Evil 7 and Capcom had high hopes for the game but, the game did not meet the sales expectations but it is not something that would cause panic as “lifecycle for games is growing longer” and expects the game to ship 10 million units in its lifetime.
Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2 will launch on November 28, 2017, for Nintendo Switch and will launch on November 30 in Japan.
