What is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Zeroing Distance?

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is mostly a long-range shooter so you will be using sniping a lot and most of the times, you will be looking at targets at a great distance from you. To eliminate them successfully from a great distance, you will be required to keep in mind a few important elements and one of them is Zeroing Distance.

It is basically the bullet drop distance when the bullet has been fired from your gun. This depends on the sniper rifle that you are using. Rifles that are more powerful are able to shoot farther than less powerful rifles to keep in mind the power of the rifle that you are going to use to snipe.

How to Use PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Zeroing Distance?

To calculate the Zeroing Distance, first, you need to find the distance between yourself and the enemy. Look at the map and use some landmarks to correctly identify the distance between yourself and the enemy you wish to kill. The map has squares on it and each square represent 100 meters. You will need to count all the squares between yourself and your enemy. This will give you the exact distance so that you can use it for Zeroing Distance while sniping.

Now aim with your sniper rifle and it will show you the default Zeroing Distance setting. By default, Page Up and Page Down keys are used to increase and decrease the Zeroing Distance respectively. Check the default Zeroing Distance and then adjust it according to the situation using the Page Up and Page Down keys. Once set, take the shot and you will land a successful hit.

Another thing that you need to keep in mind while setting up the Zeroing Distance is whether you are lower or higher than your enemy is. Keep these things in mind and you will snipe enemies at a great distance in no time.
