Destiny 2 has launched for consoles and Bungie has made sure that the game runs at a smooth 30 FPS on both consoles, however, the Xbox One version of Destiny 2 is facing some performance issues as some players have reported that they are experiencing dramatic Destiny 2 FPS drops during some of the events.
According to Reddit user FruitnYoghurt, there are few events in Destiny 2 in which the players are experiencing dramatic FPS drops. These events include Hive event on Titan, Vex, Cabal, Fallen Events on Nessus, Fallen Event on EDZ, and certain parts of the Leviathan Raid.
The thread received responses from other players confirming the dramatic Destiny 2 FPS drops on Xbox One and the issue is widespread across all Xbox One versions. While it is not a game breaking issue but, it does ruin the immersion and frustrates players.
It seems that Bungie will soon have to do something about the issue and we are sure that by now Bungie might be aware of the Destiny 2 FPS drops on Xbox One.
In related news, Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2 Faction Rallies event goes live on September 26. Once the event starts, players can go to the tower and talk to one of the three factions, DEAD ORBIT, FUTURE WAR CULT, and NEW MONARCHY, leaders.
Players will have to take part in some activities like public events, explore Lost Sectors, complete strikes, clear the raid, or compete in the Crucible.
Also, Bungie has revealed that the upcoming sequel could run at 60 FPS on consoles and also explained that it won’t do it because that would require compromises.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and the PC version will launch in October.
