Project Cars 2 is a game developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Bandai Namco and here we have some Project Cars 2 PC benchmarks for you, so you can see how well your GPU will be able to handle the game and what resolution you will be able to run the game at.
It is recommended that you have an Intel i7 6700k with a Nvidia GTX 1080 and 16 GB of RAM but you should be able to play the game with at least an Intel Core i5 3450 and a Nvidia GTX 680 and 8 GB of RAM. You will also need 50 GB of free space for installation purposes.
Looking at the 1080p Project Cars 2 PC benchmarks you can clearly see that the game favors Nvidia graphics and that the Nvidia graphics cards just destroy the competition. The latest high-end GPUs and even the previous generation GTX 980 Ti and Titan X are able to run the game at 100+ FPS with all settings maxed out at 1080p.
The AMD Vega 64, the flagship GPU from team Red manages to compete with the last generation Nvidia GTX 980, which is not all that impressive at 1080p. You can check out the 1080p Project Cars 2 PC benchmarks below:
Stepping things up to 1440p and we do see a slight bump in the performance of the high-end Nvidia and AMD GPUs. The Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti and 1080 are still able to run the game at 100+ FPS on average. The Nvidia Titan X, 1070 and 980 Ti fall to the 80 FPS mark. The AMD RX Vega 64 and 56 come in at 80 and 72 FPS.
1440p Project Cars 2 PC benchmarks are as follows:
Moving to 4K we see that in order to run the game at 4K 60 FPS you will need at least a Nvidia GTX 1070. Anything lower than that and 60 FPS at 4K is not possible. None of the AMD GPUs are able to run the game at 4K 60 FPS. The GTX 1070 seems to offer the best value here as it can run the game at 60 FPS at all resolutions up to 4k.
Keep in mind that these benchmarks have been conducted with all settings maxed out. Turning down the settings will get you more frames and better performance.
