Horizon Zero Dawn Update 1.34 Now Live, Brings Progression Fix And More
Guerrilla Games has been supporting Horizon Zero Dawn since its launch with new updates and an expansion for the game is also due later this year. Now, the studio has rolled out Horizon Zero Dawn Update 1.34 that fixes the technical issues in the game that were introduced by update 1.33.
Horizon Zero Dawn Update 1.34 brings a few bug fixes along with a progression fix in ‘The Womb of the Mountain’ where players were able to kill the Corruptor but, their progression was blocked due to the players being unable to interact with it. Check out the patch notes below.
- Implemented an option to allow making a manual save from a previous Game when starting a New Game to avoid losing progress.
- Fixed an issue where for some players Tearblast Arrows incorrectly deal extra Tear damage on Ultra Hard.
- Fixed an issue where some players were able to reroll Special Modification Boxes by saving and reloading.
- Fixed an issue in ‘The Womb of the Mountain’ when playing on Story difficulty where some players were able to kill the Corruptor outside of the gate, blocking progression because the player is not able to interact with it to continue the quest.
Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the best games released for this generation and while it is a PS4 exclusive but, Xbox founder is very impressed by the game. According to Seamus Blackley, it is a spectacular game and it takes balls to make a game like Horizon Zero Dawn.
I want big release. 100 million Dollar bet” that requires a lot of courage. Blackley said Guerrilla is a great developer but that it takes “balls” to bring such projects to the market and that Yoshida “is the man” for sticking by it even if it wasn’t looking too good at times during the development.
Horizon Zero Dawn is an open-world action adventure game developed by Guerrilla Games exclusively for PlayStation 4.
