Fans have been waiting for Resident Evil 7 Not A Hero DLC that will star Chris Redfield and will be free to those who own the base game. While the DLC will launch in December but, Capcom has revealed a few screenshots for the upcoming DLC.
These new screenshots for Resident Evil 7 Not A Hero showcase Chris Redfield stomping on a monster’s face, a spooky area, and one screenshot showcases the UI and weapon for the DLC. Check out the screenshots below.
Also, Capcom has announced the Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition. This special edition will include the complete base game in addition to both volumes of the “Banned Footage” DLCs. The Gold Edition will also include the brand new “End of Zoe” add-on which is a Zoe Baker after-story.
This piece of downloadable content will be available for 1,500 yen and will launch alongside the free “Not a Hero” DLC on December 14.
Earlier this year, Capcom revealed that it is working on an unannounced Resident Evil project but, didn’t reveal what it was. According to Resident Evil 7 Director Kōshi Nakanishi, while they can’t reveal anything right now but they are working on something related to Resident Evil.
Also, Steamforged Games has started a Kickstarter for Resident Evil 2 board game. The game will be set in the world of Resident Evil 2 and the project has been approved by Capcom.
Capcom had high hopes for Resident Evil 7 but, the game did not meet the sales expectations but it is not something that would cause panic as “lifecycle for games is growing longer” and expects the game to ship 10 million units in its lifetime.
Resident Evil 7 is a first-person horror survival title developed by Capcom for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
