Destiny 2 Servers To Go Offline Today, Here Is When And For How Long
Destiny 2 has launched for consoles and gamers are enjoying the game to their heart’s content and now Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 servers will be down today for four hours for maintenance. Destiny 2 server maintenance will start at 3 PM UK time and will continue till 7 PM.
Players will not be able to login to Destiny 2 after the maintenance work begins and those who are already in-game will have one hour to leave Destiny 2 servers and will be kicked after that. Destiny servers will also go offline the same time. Also, Destiny 2 update 188.8.131.52 will go live after the maintenance is over.
In related news, it seems that Bungie has realized that hunting for XUR is Destiny 2 is quite a task and has decided to make it a tad bit easier as players will no longer need to hunt for XUR on random planets. XUR will not appear on the main Director screen but, zooming-in to a specific planet will reveal an icon for XUR on the map. Players can set the waypoint to get to him and buy exotics.
Also, Bungie has confirmed that it has no plans for PTR for Destiny 2 but, thinks that they are amazing and intends to challenge the team without exposing it to the public. With many games featuring Public Test Realms(PTR) for players to try out, it would not be surprising if Bungie also introduces one.
while I think that test realms would be amazing for things like stability, I’m still interested in challenging us to do our best job without having to expose it to the public. I wouldn’t say never, but I wouldn’t say yes.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and the PC version will launch in October.
