Doom Coming To Nintendo Switch This Holiday Season
Nintendo Switch has been getting a lot of third-party support and now Bethesda has announced its critically acclaimed shooter Doom for Nintendo Switch. Bethesda is not only bringing Skyrim to Switch but, Doom is also coming to the hybrid console this holiday season.
During the Nintendo Direct presentation, Bethesda announced Doom for Nintendo Switch and will arrive this holiday season. However, no further details were revealed about the Switch version of the game like if there will be any additional content or not.
In related news, Bethesda is also bringing the VR version of the critically acclaimed game titled Doom VFR. Players will be able to experience the game in virtual reality with the VR version of the game that will launch later this year along with Fallout 4 VR. The game will be available for HTC Vive and PSVR.
If you flinched the first time you saw a meaty Mancubus charging at you in last year’s critically acclaimed DOOM, wait till you get up close and even more personal with rampaging demons in DOOM VFR. Revealed at Bethesda’s E3 2017 Showcase, DOOM VFR is a new virtual reality game from legendary developer id Software, coming to PlayStation VR and VIVE platforms.
Also, the game was supposed to be enhanced for the upcoming Xbox One X but, Microsoft has silently removed the game from the list of Xbox One X enhanced titles and didn’t even explained why.
It is somewhat surprising the removal of Doom for the list of Xbox One X enhanced titles since other games from Bethesda such as Dishonored 2, Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, and Fallout 4 are being enhanced for the console.
Doom is a first-person action shooter developed by id Software for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
