The Call of Duty Retribution DLC, the next DLC for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, is now available for Playstation 4 players. The pack will feature four new maps, a re-imagined map called Warhawk, and a new cooperative mode called The Beast From Beyond, which will finish the game’s zombie mode.
To start off with, we have the four new maps that will be in the DLC. On that, we first have Carnage, which takes place on a devastated racetrack along the California coast. The map features long sight lines and various environmental hazards, including a fire trap.
Next, there’s Heartland, a reimagining of the map Warhawk from Call of Duty: Ghosts. Taking place yet again in a simulation of suburban America, players can also pick up a Black Hole generator weapon. Thirdly there’s the Altitude map, which takes place in a high-rise shopping center that focuses on a chaotic central area with a number of flanking routes.
Finally, there’s Depot 22, which features a medium-sized three lane map that focuses on mid-ranged encounters.
Along with the four new maps, the Call of Duty Retribution DLC will also feature a final zombie map known as The Beast From Beyond. In that game mode, players will work together to survive the zombie hordes on an isolated space station on a faraway ice planet, where they will uncover the truth behind the sinister movie director William Wyler and how to stop his horror movies.
In that map, players will not only be fighting off hordes of zombies, but also a new breed of enemies that old Call of Duty fans will apparently recognize.
There’s no real indication of when the Call of Duty Retribution DLC will become available for the Xbox One and PC, but for now it’s available on the Playstation 4. If you have the game on that, feel free to buy the DLC pack and see what all it contains.
