Destiny 2 has launched for consoles and gamers are waiting for the first upcoming raid and are still wondering what will be the Destiny 2 light level required for it. Now, Bungie has revealed the Destiny 2 light level for the upcoming raid just a day before it goes live.
Game Director Luke Smith revealed through his Twitter post that players will require to have Destiny 2 light level between 260 and 280 for the raid which is actually low as many players have already reached level 300 in Destiny 2. However, Bungie might have done it on purpose to make the raid accessible for those who couldn’t grind over 280.
Destiny 2 had quite a hype following its launch as the game reached 1.2 million concurrent players. However, despite being the biggest 2017 launch in the UK, Destiny 2 sales are 58% down compared to the original. But, it is important to note that that digital sales make up a large slice of the console market and the data doesn’t include it.
Also, the game has only launched for PS4 and Xbox One as opposed to Destiny which launched for PS4, Xbox One, and legacy consoles.
Furthermore, Bungie has revealed the clan rewards for Destiny 2. Once players have joined a clan in Destiny 2 every activity in the game will drive the players’ Clan progression and eventually raises the levels. Players will get rewards and after some time Bungie will reset these bonuses to keep the community engaged.
Also, Bungie has confirmed that it has no plans for Destiny 2 PTR but, thinks that they are amazing and intends to challenge the team without exposing it to the public. With many games featuring Public Test Realms(PTR) for players to try out, it would not be surprising if Bungie also introduces one.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and the PC version will launch in October.
