Assassin’s Creed Origins is releasing soon on consoles and PC with a major new setting, Egypt, and the biggest set of activities to ever be a part of an Assassin’s Creed game. According to Ashraf Ismail, the game offers dozens and dozens of hours of content to the player.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Egypt and players will be placed in the shoes of the first Assassin, Bayek. Bayek and his wife are going to lay the foundation of the Assassin’s Brotherhood. The main storyline alone offers hours of content but the major chunk of it comes from side missions, dungeons, and exploration.
Speaking with SegmentNext, game director Ashraf Ismail stated that the time to complete every activity in AC: Origins varies from player to player. However, he assured us that Assassin’s Creed Origins is the richest AC game to ever release. When asked about the time it would take to achieve 100% completion, Ismail said:
It’s not a question we can really answer, as playtime to achieve a certain goal drastically varies from one player to another. What I can ensure you is that Assassin’s Creed Origins is the richest AC game to date in terms of playable content and it will keep players busy for dozens and dozens of hours.
Ismail also stated that Assassin’s Creed Origins comes with “connected features” that will enrich player experience. There isn’t a full-fledged multiplayer mode it seems but there is some form of online functionality added to Origins.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is coming to Xbox One X as well and is reportedly running at Full HD/60FPS.
