47 More WWE 2K18 Wrestlers Revealed, Pads Out The Roster Even More
Nearly four dozen more WWE 2K18 wrestlers have been revealed for the game, padding out its substantial roster even more. The roster is being revealed week by week on IGN, and has shown off a number of wrestlers both old and new, retired, dead, living, and more before the game releases.
Some of these wrestlers have included British Bulldog, Brett Hart, The Undertaker, John Cena, and more, and as the game gets closer and closer to release IGN will release more wrestlers. Some of the wrestlers that have been revealed this week include Booker T, Batista, Trish Stratus, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Goldust, the three members of New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods), Sting, Shawn Michaels, Shane MacMahon, and more.
While some of these 47 new WWE 2K18 wrestlers are still in the WWE, still others have either retired or moved on to better things, or, as said before, have even died. One of the most prominent of these is the Ultimate Warrior, who died back in 2014 of a myocardial infarction after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame three days before.
Having dead wrestlers in wrestling video games is nothing new, especially if there are a lot of other superstars in it. WWE All Stars, along with multiple other wrestling games, have included Andre the Giant as part of their roster despite him dying in 1993. British Bulldog, another well-known wrestler, died in 2002 and is still in games.
This recent reveal of 47 other WWE 2K18 wrestlers is the last one that IGN is going to do before the game releases on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch on October 17 of this year.
