FIFA 18 career mode Will Feature Cutscenes Like its Story Mode

FIFA 18 story mode will feature cutscenes as well as a conversation wheel but as the company announced it will be also available on the FIFA 18 career mode.

FIFA 18 is just some weeks away from releasing and EA is still giving out information about specific aspects of the game such as it’s single player content. Recently we learned that the FIFA 18 story mode will feature cutscenes as well as a conversation wheel but as the company announced it will be also available on the FIFA 18 career mode.

Through its blog, EA announced that the FIFA 18 career mode will contain interactive transfree negotiations, in which you “Meet in-person in your office with the manager or a representative of the selling club to arrange a fee for the player”. The negotiation will take place with the use of it’s decision wheel and after the negotiation is done you can directly speak to the player and his manager for further agreements.

All your transfers and negotiations will have their own cutscenes, made by Frostbite, will be catalogued in your FIFA 18 career mode main menu and it will contain all press conferences, presentations and shots with their new teamates.

For the use of the decision wheel on any given negotiation with the opposing club, EA states on EA Sports Blog:

Using the new decision wheel, you’ll be able to submit an offer fee, and even include optional conditions such as a sell-on clause. Submit the offer and you’ll begin the dialogue with the opposing manager, who will either accept, reject or counter your offer. New AI negotiations mean opposition managers will engage with dynamic and varied responses to get the best deal for their club.

Note that these features will be featured on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC, making Nintendo Switch the only console lacking the new Frostbite cutscenes and a completely different career mode in general.

FIFA 18 will be releasing in September 29 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One and pre-orders are already available.
