Assassin’s Creed Origins will be taking full advantage of the upcoming Xbox One X through dynamic scaling and a new report suggests that in addition to 4k/30 FPS the game will also feature 1080/60 FPS mode too. According to the report, Ubisoft itself has confirmed it at Fan Expo Canada.
The report comes from YouTuber DEE BATCH who revealed in his video that Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Origins will feature a 1080/60 FPS mode for Xbox One X in addition to the 4k/30 FPS. This option will be appreciated by those who prefer a smoother game experience.
Ubisoft has been praising the upcoming Xbox One X for its hardware and how it allows the studio to push the game’s visuals to its limits with a faster processor. “This is the one thing with the Xbox One X: we have more memory to play with, a faster processor, so we’re definitely able to push the limits of those visuals.”

Also, Ubisoft has confirmed that Tombs are returning in Assassin’s Creed Origins and this time the tombs will be based on real world tombs. Creative director Ashraf Ismail confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Origins will feature tombs that will feature a mix of puzzles and platforming, just like in Assassin’s Creed 2.
Also, Ubisoft has assured that the PC version of Assasin’s Creed Origins will not suffer like the past entries in the franchise. According to game director Ashraf Ismail, the studio is putting a lot of work in the PC version of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is an upcoming action RPG in development at Ubisoft and is scheduled to launch on October 27, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
