AMD CPU sales have been increasing at a steady pace keeping in mind the Ryzen 7 offerings that feature 8 cores and 16 threads at prices that are far more reasonable as compared to what Intel has on the shelves. Even though these CPUs might not be as good in games but they are great all-rounders.

Mindfactory.de is a popular e-tailer in Germany and is known as the Newegg of Germany. This e-tailer has provided details regarding how well AMD CPU sales are doing as compared to Intel. The e-tailer claims that AMD Ryzen, as well as AMD Threadripper sales, are surpassing that of Intel.

AMD Threadripper CPUs are selling well and are increasingly popular with content creators as well as PC enthusiasts. Back in March 2017, AMD had a market share of 27.6% but now, new information reveals that AMD has a CPU market share of 49% as of July 2017. This is a significant increase in numbers and AMD CPU sales.

Statistics from August reveal that AMD has 56% CPU market share which is not significant as compared to the previous bump, it does mean that AMD has a higher CPU market share than Intel. AMD has been at it for a long time and the company deserves this victory. Intel 8th generation CPUs will be coming out soon and it will be interesting to see the market share then.

The best selling AMD Ryzen CPU is the Ryzen 5 1600 which has 6 cores and 12 threads. The i5 killer offers great value for money considering that it only costs $220. The Ryzen 7 1700, as well as the 1700X, have also been very popular with the people.

The majority of the Intel sales are due to the 7700K which is a great CPU but AMD is pulling out the rug from under Intel’s feet when it comes to other CPUs.
