EA has been very active to market the upcoming Need for Speed and now EA has rolled out a new video showcasing Need For Speed: Payback Offroad gameplay. EA showcased the gameplay at Gamescom 2017 and the video features a “Side Bet” off-road race and showcases the BMW M5.
This Need For Speed: Payback Offroad gameplay gives us a good look at the off-road racing and also reveals that characters will pass some remark depending on their situation and position in the race. As you can see in the gameplay video above, the character remarked a few times while overtaking its opponents.
Need For Speed: Payback brings back the customization that will allow players to create their ride from the scratch. EA recently gave a detailed look at the customization featured in the upcoming title. According to the devs, the customization is better than ever in Need For Speed: Payback with a slew of car customizations items for players to unlock.
Every individual car part can be modified for players to craft their dream car. With every race you win, you will unlock a new customization item that will take you closer to your dream car in the game.
While the game has been confirmed for PC and consoles, we might also see the game on Nintendo Switch. According to executive producer Marcus Nilsson, there is no Nintendo Switch version for the time being.
Need For Speed: Payback will feature three different protagonist much like how GTA V featured three protagonists. The game will also feature deep customization for cars which is a much-requested feature by fans for quite some time, also players will be able to build their cars from scratch.
Need For Speed: Payback is a racing title in development at Ghost Games and is scheduled to launch November 10, 2017, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
