Game Of Thrones Season 8

If you plan to watch the season finale or season 7 as a whole, we recommend that you do not reach beyond this point. The article contains major spoilers for the entire season as well as the season finale.

The 7th season of Game of Thrones has come to an end and it was a big one to say the very least. We predicted that the Night King would ride up to the wall on his dragon and take it down and that is what happened and while Jamie did not kill Cersei, he did leave her, which is a start.

Furthermore, we saw the exchange between Sam and Bran regarding the parents of Jon. It has been revealed finally that Jon is not a bastard and that he is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. This was a vital part of the season and there were hints that led us to believe we would see this in this season.

The new revelation makes it clear that there is much more to Jon than what meets the eye and while we already knew that from the start, it has now been made official. Having said that, we now know for sure that Jon is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne instead of Daenerys Targaryen. We will have to see how things go and who will turn out sitting on the Iron Throne in the end.

Here we are going to talk about our speculation of Game of Thrones season 8 and what you can expect to see in the upcoming season. While the next season will air in a years time there is still much that we can speculate.

Targaryen Family

Now that Jon and Danny have made sweet love, we will know once and for all whether or not Daenerys can have children. We are still waiting for Sam and Bran to tell Jon about his parents and that should be interesting seeing what went down between Jon and Danny. All things considered, it should not be too big of a thing as the Targaryen families have been at it for generations.

My guess is that Jon and Danny will be able to have a family even though they do not know how they are related at this point in time, but that should not matter in the long run. It is interesting to note that Danny mentions that she cannot have children. This could be a build up for the next season and should be a major part of Game of Thrones season 8.

Aegon Targaryen

It turns out that Lyanna named Jon Aegon Targaryen before she died and this is not the first time that we are hearing the name. There have been a couple of Aegons that came before Jon and that could be the reason why he has also been given this name.

The Three Dragon Rider Theory

There was a theory regarding the three dragons and some fans suggested that Danny, Jon, and Tyrion would be the dragon riders. Seeing how one of the dragons has changed sides, even though unwillingly, that might not be the case. There is a small chance that there will be some kind of way to getting the dragon back but that is highly unlikely.

Everything considered the three dragon rider theory is pretty much dead but that does not mean that Danny and Jon cannot take to the air in Game of Thrones season 8.

Coin Does Not Win Wars

We have heard the significance of coin in the Lannister family before and their firm belief is that it is gold and not soldiers that win battles. We have seen this theory proven wrong in the past and I am pretty sure that the same will be the case going forward as well. Seeing how Jamie is no longer at Cersei’s side, she is relatively vulnerable.

Jamie was a huge asset to the queen and he is a master strategist on the battlefield. This loss will have a vital impact. Cersei maybe great with her schemes but there is little that she knows about a battle. She may have learned about such things from her father but listening in on something is different from being on the battlefield.

Cersei may have the support of the Iron Bank but paying mercenaries might not be as affective. We will have to wait and see what these sell swords are worth and whether or not they can go up against Danny and Jon

Jamie Bends The Knee?

Now that Jamie has taken off, I am sure that he will honor his word and go support Danny in order to help in the great war against the White Walkers. There is not much that one man can do against an army but seeing how well versed he is on the battlefield Jamie could turn out to be an asset for Danny.

I know he has little knowledge regarding the White Walkers but a little meeting with the rest of the gang and they should be able to fill him in on the details. it will be interesting to see the conversation between Jamie, Jon and Danny and how we will be able to help in the great war that is to come in Game of Thrones season 8.

Let us know what you think about the final episode of this season of Game of Thrones and what you want to see in Game of Thrones season 8.
